CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Y. K. Jethwa, Addl. DG of Police (L&O) reviewed functioning of ODRAF with all ODRAF unit commanders on Thursday. Work done in recent emergencies including handling forest fires was reviewed.
Plans for further disaster preparedness were discussed. Manpower position, specialized training needs, infrastructure needs were reviewed.Odisha ODRAF has emerged as a competent specialized disaster management wing in the State.
It is being equipped further with latest technology based high end equipment, specialized training and infrastructure for achieving further excellence in disaster response.
