He visited Kapileshwar PAX of the block and Nayahat PAX of the GOP block and discussed with the farmers. Rout advised the departmental officers to arrange various ancillary facilities for them in the mandis so that the farmers are not harassed under any circumstances, and to collect the paddy within the stipulated time.
During this inspection, Joint Secretary of the Cooperative Department Lingaraj Nayak, Chief Supply Officer Sanjib Sahu, DRCS Sarojini Jena, Nimapada Supply Inspector, PAX Secretary were present. The Chief Supply Officer informed that 397348 quintals of paddy have been collected from 10218 farmers in the district so far and Rs. 723096003 has been paid through the account.
