BHUBANESWAR: This year, on the 79th State level Independence Day celebrations, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi will be the Chief Guest, hoist the National Flag and take the salute in the combined parade.
In this regard, a preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shri Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department.
As Independence Day is a national festival and a symbol of pride for all of us, the Additional Chief Secretary emphasized in the meeting to pay attention to every detail while organizing the festival.
The special issue of ‘Utkal Prasanga’ and ‘Odisha Review’ published by the Information and Public Relations Department will be released by the chief guest on this occasion.
he road from Raj Bhavan to the festival venue will be beautified. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sharma has also suggested that the festival venue should be decorated attractively.
