BHUBANESWAR: Chithra Arumugam, IAS (RR-1995), currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Labour & ESI Department, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities.
She will continue her existing duties while also taking on the role of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government in the Science & Technology Department. Furthermore, effective from January 31, 2026, she has been appointed as the Director General of Training Coordination at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar.
This came after the superannuation of G. Mathivathanan, IAS, from government service.
Saroj Kumar Sethi, IAS (SCS-2012), who is presently the Chief General Manager (Land) at the Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha (IDCO), has been promoted to the position of Additional Secretary to the Government in the Industries Department. He will retain his additional charge as CGM (Land) at IDCO.
