Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani Thanks JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal for visiting DPCL in Odisha’s Bhadrak

BHADRAK/BHUBANESWAR: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has thanked Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal for paying a visit to his company run Dhamra Port Corporation Limited (DPCL) in Odisha’s Bhadrak district. “Thank you Naveenji. Absolutely a pleasure to host you at this gem of a port in land of Lord Jagannath,” Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani tweeted @gautam_adani.

Earlier, JSPL Chairman and former MP Jindal had paid a visit to Goutam Adani owned Adani Group run Adani Dhamra Port facing mighty Bay of Bengal and lauded cargo handling and state of art operations of Port.

JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal has all praise for Adani Group Chairman Goutam Adani and Port CEO Subrata Tripathy for keeping the national asserts in right direction towards making India Atma Nirbhar.

The Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL) is a 100% subsidiary of Adani Ports and SEZ. DPCL has been awarded a concession by Government of Odisha to build and operate a port north of the mouth of river Dhamra in Bhadrak district on BOOST (Build, Own, Operate, Share and Transfer) basis for a total period of 34 years including a period of 4 years for construction.

Dhamra is one of the deep draft ports of India which can accommodate super cape-size vessels. It is an all-weather, multi-user, multi-cargo portpoised to become the largest and most efficient port in the east coast of India. Situated between Haldia and Paradeep, Dhamra Port is in close proximity to the mineral belt of Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal offers deepened hinterland connectivity and operational efficiency.

With deep draft berths and multipurpose terminals, the port efficiently handles the largest bulk carriers in the world. The port has covered and open storage areas with enormous capacity.
