BHUBANESWAR: Abinash Nanda, a student of SOA Deemed to be University (SOA) here, who visited Kyrgyz Republic as part of a NCC delegation under a Youth Exchange Program (YEP) last month returned with a rich experience.

Nanda, a 5th year Computer Science student of Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), said he had the opportunity to participate in a series of enriching activities including interactive sessions on Indo-Kyrgyz relations and educational trips during the week-long visit which ended on September 30.

He was part of a five-member Indian NCC delegation which landed in Bishkek on September 24.

Nanda, who called on SOA Founder President, Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak on his return, said he had highly benefitted by the educational and cultural exchanges during the trip which highlighted the diverse culture and traditions of the two countries. The visiting delegation also took part in discussions with the hosts covering key areas like education, defence technology and tourism.

They also attended the passing out parade at the Military Institute at Bishkek and attended a felicitation at the Indian Embassy there.
