BHUBANESWAR: The train will run six days a week except Saturday. It will cover a 505-km-long distance between Puri and Rourkela in 7.45 hours. A trial run of the second Vande Bharat Express of Odisha was conducted between Puri Talcher Road Station on Monday.
The eight-coach Vande Bharat Express train had reached Puri on September 1 from Chennai. It is likely to be flagged off by September 30.
As per schedule, the train departed the Puri Railway Station at 9.30 am on September 11 (Monday). The train will reach Talcher at 12.30 pm.
The Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat train will have stoppages at Puri, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Angul and Talcher Road during its trial run, informed a loco pilot today.
