BHUBANESWAR:A public speaking competition program was organized today at the Harekrushna Mahatab State Library premises under the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department for the readers.
The main objective of this is that the readers studying in the library will achieve great success in state-level and all-India level competitive examinations and earn fame for the state.
Today’s event created a special atmosphere in the library. Shri Devaprasad Dash, Special Secretary, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department and Smt. Anuja Tarini Mishra, Special Duty Officer were the judges of today’s speech competition.
The theme of today’s speech competition was “India after 2014”. After the lecturers delivered their speeches, the judges guided the lecturers on how they can become excellent speakers in the future. The winners of English and Odia speeches were finally awarded with certificates and medals. All the staff of the library were present in today’s event.
