BHUBANESWAR:A one-day capacity building workshop for police officers has been organized by Odisha Police Railway and Coastal Security at Police Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. The workshop focused on enhancing the professional skills and efficiency of the officers, awareness about railway and coastal security, role of technology in crime investigation, cyber crime, modern methods of investigation, national and international maritime laws and various legal aspects.

DGP Shri Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, IPS formally inaugurated the workshop and said that this workshop will help in increasing the capacity of railway and coastal security. He said that our main goal is to strengthen and modernize railway and coastal security. Odisha Police is giving utmost importance to increasing human resources, modern technology and improving working style.The workshop also discussed issues such as illegal entry and human trafficking.

At the end of the program, AIG (Railways and Coastal Security) Shri Satyajit Mishra proposed the vote of thanks.

Officials from government railway stations and marine stations participated in today’s event.
