SAMBALPUR/BHUBANESWAR:A new chapter has been added to Sambalpur’s transportation system.Chief Minister launches 25 new e-buses.Announcement to provide 25 more e-buses.A total of 50 e-buses will ply in Sambalpur.
To streamline the management of buses in Sambalpur, the state-of-the-art bus terminal of Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) was also inaugurated today at Ainthapali. Along with this, a provision of Rs. 238 crore 14 lakh has been made for the maintenance of the terminal and buses for the next 10 years. Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi said on this occasion that the transportation system of the people of Sambalpur will be strengthened through this bus system.
‘This cutting-edge initiative will play a major role in making the transportation of the people of Sambalpur more efficient and reducing environmental pollution. These buses have special facilities for passengers and digital payment system, which will provide a safe and improved experience to the passengers, CM said.
‘Our government is committed to developing Sambalpur as a leading district in terms of infrastructure and social progress and creating a robust transportation system in the state’, he added.
