BHUBANESWAR:A formal plan has been started to loot the valuable bauxite underground in Odisha. Instead of directly coming forward, the companies carrying out this plan are publishing articles on bauxite in various media outlets in the names of some fake NGOs and experts. They are also conducting surveys. People need to know the names of these companies and experts and their connections.

If the new government of the state does not pay attention to this, they will grab the valuable bauxite of the state. They will destroy the soil of the tribals. They will destroy the existence of many ancient medicinal trees. An innovative plan is being implemented to explain to the common people. The goal is to loot bauxite. Now, once again, a well-thought-out plan is being implemented to loot Gandhamardan.

A plan for bauxite loot is being prepared in the country in a legal manner. Some companies, NGOs, fake experts and politicians are involved in this, Kalinga Sena supremo Hemant Rath told Gana Madhyamam in a press conference today. Articles are being published claiming that the state will develop if bauxite mines are dug. People’s opinion is being tested. If there is no special response, these people will come forward to loot bauxite openly. You all know that 45 million tons of ash is being produced every year from the factories in Odisha. The government says that 42 million tons of this is being used. No one knows where the remaining ash is going. People living in the area of mines and factories are suffering from ash pollution. If another aluminum factory is built in Odisha to loot bauxite, where will the ash that comes out of it go? The government should not push the people of Odisha into ash pollution just to warm the pockets of a few industrialists.

This fake plan has started after the announcement of setting up of 3 million tonnes of aluminium plant in Keonjhar. It is noteworthy that India’s total aluminium production capacity is 4.2 million tonnes per year. Vedanta is at the top with 1.7 million tonnes. Then there are Hindalco with 1.5 million tonnes, BALCO with 0.6 million tonnes and NALCO- 0.5 million tonnes. Along with looting such valuable minerals, they have also planned to defame the honest Chief Minister Mohan Majhi. In the coming days, the action against these fake bauxite looters will be intensified. If necessary, a mass movement will be launched to protect the livelihood of the tribals in the mining area, along with strong protests, the party’s vice president Abdul Qayum Khan, general secretary Vijay Raj, I. Manoj Nayak, spokesperson Advocate Sumant Swain, and editor Monalisa Biswal have warned.
