BHUBANESWAR: As many as 989 people fined in City for COVID-19 Guidelines violation in 24 hours in Urban Police District of Bhubaneswar, sources said on Sunday.
“We appeal to follow social distancing and mask wearing guidelines to fight the pandemic. In last 24 hours 989 people have been fined for Covid Guidelines violation in UPD Bhubaneswar,” DCP Bhubaneswar tweeted @dcpbbsr.
Since April Police have prosecuted 1,77,090 people for violating mask & social distancing rules collecting total fine of Rs. 2,42,90,185/- (2 Crore 42 lakh 90 thousand 185 rupees). Twin Cities police have again request citizens to wear mask and not crowd around.
