Odisha’s COVID-19 Positive cases reaches at 437, 85 cured, 3 deceased

BHUBANESWAR: As many as 85 persons so far till on Tuesday afternoon, have been recovered so far while 3 died out of Odisha’s total tally of COVID-19 positive cases of 437.  Of the total 437, apart from 85 cured, as many as 349 cases are active while 3 dead including 2 from Khorda and 1 from Ganjam.

Of the fresh 23 new cases reported till Tuesday afternoon, Balasore reported 15 cases, Ganjam registered 3 cases, Jajpur recorded 3 more cases, Puri tested 1 positive case & Boudh recorded 1 new case.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s home turf Ganjam tops the list with 157 including 1 dead and 153 active followed by Patnaik’s trusted lieutenant , Boby Das’s home district, Jajpur with 65 including 59 active and 2 cured and Khorda placed in 3rd position with 50 cases including 37 cured , 2 dead and 11 active. Ganjam and Jajpur jointly reported as many as 222 cases of the total 437.
