BHUBANESWAR: Days after Berhampur Police arrested several dalals active at MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Kendrapara Police on Thursday acted very swiftly on middle men active at the District Headquaters Hospital.
Kendrapara town police arrested on 7 middle men and dalals from district headquarters hospital for allegedly diverting patients to private health care centres. Police sources said brokers and agents were engaged in the government hospital to divert the poor and ignorant patients to private hospitals.
The accused including four women have been booked for reportedly cheating patients and attendants.
