BHUBANESWAR: The much awaited 62nd National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship 2023 was on Thursday kicked off at the iconic Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar in Odisha and will continue till June 18.
Chief Guest, the legendary athlete and MP PT Usha , officially declared the event open in the presence of Minister of State for Sports and Youth Services, E& IT and Home Tusharkanti Behera, Sports Department Secretary R Vineel Krishna and Atheletic Federation of India Head Coach, Radhakrishnan Nair .
Eminent athletes are showcasing their talent at the Championship being organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Odisha in accordance with the Rules of World Athletics – Competition & Technical Rules 2022 Edition & Indian Athletics Manual.
The SOP issued by Athletics Federation of India, Government of Odisha & Government of India are being be followed for hosting this National Athletics Championships.
