BARIPADA/BHUBANESWAR: As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T Secretary VK Pandian visited PRM Medical College and Hospital, Baripada and DHH Baripada . Pandian visited different wards, laundry centre, OPDs, College lecture theatres and RT-PCR lab. During the visit, Sri Pandian interacted with faculty, students and patients.
Secretary Health & Family Welfare, Shalini Pandit briefed Shri Pandian about the development and issues of PRM Medical College and Hospital.
5T Secretary Pandian also visited Devkund, Bhimakund, Khiching today and discussed with the officials and local public regarding development of these places.
Pandian visited Jashipur and visited the site of the proposed Khairi-Bhandhan Irrigation Project. The project will provide irrigation to 9,400 hectares of land in Jashipur, Sukruli and Raruan Blocks.
He then visited the Samadhi of Pandit Raghunath Murmu in Dandbose, Rairangpur and interacted with members of the Santhal community. He assured them that site will be developed and also assured that their other demands will be placed before government for positive consideration.
Pandian visited the MKC Government High School in Baripada, transformed under Odisha School Transformation and reviewed various development works. 5T Secretary interacted with the teachers, students and shared CM Patnaik’s ‘s vision.
