PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Police have detained several accused persons in collection with the alleged ink attack on 5T Secretary VK Pandian and Puri Collector Samartha Verma , who were attending a function UGS College at Satyabadi.
5T Secretary Pandian was reportedly meeting and greeting Mission Shakti members when ink was thrown at him.
A person reportedly pitched ink at 5T Secretary Pandian and some portion of the ink also smeared the face of Puri Collector Samarth Verma.
This was for the first time Pandian faced ink attack. He was earlier shown black flags and demonstration but this time, attack was sudden and unexpected, sources said.
