KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: 5T Secretary VK Pandian along with Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma, Works Secretary VV Yadav , CM Naveen Patnaik’s Special Secretary R Vineel Krishna Thursday reviewed progress of proposed steel plant by AMNS in Kendrapara.
5T Secretary along with other officials including Collector Amrit Ruturaj held interaction with officials of Proposed Steel Plant (Analysis of Geographical Situation of the Plant Site on a Tropoid Map) at Adoi.
While speaking to the locals, 5T Secretary said that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is very keen for the project and he personally talked to the company officials during his last Japan visit.
Pandian also held interaction with Association, Social Group and Public Representatives at Kendrapara Circuit House and assured that Kendrapara will see India’s biggest steel plant soon. “When I requested to CM Sir about Kendrapara project, he assured that the project will be done and with blessing of Lord Baladevjew , it will be India’s biggest project,’ Pandian said. It’s only in Kendrapara, not only in Odisha, it will India’s biggest project and CM sir has been very interested for the project. He said, Kendrapara will set a new benchmark in development and sought support from all for the project.
The 30MT plant will produce speciality steel. Chief Minister Patnaik had assured complete support to the proposed mega plant which will give huge boost to socio-economic development of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendujhar and generate thousands of jobs for youths of Odisha. 5T Secretary also sought support and cooperation for the project.
