BHUBANESWAR: As per the direction of Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) V K Pandian and Principal Secretary, Industries Department, Hemant Sharma, visited the #Odisha University of Technology & Research (OUTR) at Ghatikia, in Bhubaneswar, to review the infrastructure development work.
Chief Minister Patnaik has approved an investment of ₹300 crore for development work at OUTR to be executed in the first phase. It has been decided to open 4 more departments and emphasis is being given on making it a leading educational institution at national level.
5T Secretary Pandian reviewed the proposed master plan of the university & discussed with authorities about the infrastructure requirement, need for staff & faculty. He also visited laboratories, smart classes at the university and took feedback from students of various Deparments.
