On direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T –Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian visited Sambalpur and discussed development of VIMSAR and Stadiums.

BHUBANESWAR:  On direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T –Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian visited Sambalpur and discussed development of VIMSAR and Stadiums on Sunday .

He interacted with the VIMSAR senior doctors and staff on development of the health care facilities to be taken up at a cost of Rs 1000 crores. Later, he discussed with the Director, senior doctors and staff regarding development of the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR). In the intital phase, the facilities will be developed with project cost of ₹1,000 Cr. A master plan will be prepared for overall development of the campus in various phases, as per availability of land.

Pandian visited the VSS stadium and reviewed the plans for redevelopment of the cricket stadium and new Football Stadium; Total cost of Rs 350 crores approx for the stadiums development.

Pandian who was a sportsperson himself and used to study in Sports hostel, played cricket and shared his experience with the players.

He reviewed the project for development of Birthplace of Veer Surendra Sai at Khinda; Directs officials to expedite the work.

Pandian flags off First Mahanadi Half Marathon.  He visited Maa Samaleswari Temple and interacts with devotees on the new facilities.
