BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Assembly Speaker Dr. Surjya Narayan Patro on Tuesday said that as many as 42 MLA quarters in MLA Colony will be demolished from Wednesday and construction of multi-storey building with garden, gym, rest house, parking lot & other modern-day amenities will began soon.
While reviewing the matters relating to construction of proposed Multi Storied Building in MLA Colony, Bhubaneswar Patro said that so far, 24 MLAs have vacated their quarters and others have been served notices.
Among others, Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Govt, Works Department, Dr. Krishan Kumar, Secretary, OLA, Dasarathi Satapathy, Director Estates, Hemanta Kumar Padhy and other high officials of Works Department were present in the meeting.
