BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR: As many as 4 cases at various police stations have been pending against the accused Bhagban Sahu, S/O: Chaitanya Sahu of village Jemadevi Sahi, of Old Berhampur, under Badbazar, who attacked SDJM Berhampur on Monday. BNpur case no: FIR – 415/2022 under sections 341/332/353/323/307/506 IPC is registered in this regard, informed SP, Sravana Vivek M adding accused under police custody.
According to Police sources, on Monday afternoon at around 2.30 PM when SDJM Berhampur was in her chamber attending her work one unknown person suddenly went near her chair and put a knife on her neck and threatened to kill her.
Her staff and lawyers present there immediately over powered him and caught hold of him. Police present there took him under custody immediately. SDJM is safe, sources said. The accused Sahu was previously arrested and is currently out in bail. The accused is currently under police custody. The case is under investigation.
Accused Bhagban Sahu has the following four cases pending against him.
