BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: As many 3 government officials namely Shri Kamadev Biswal,AEE (Class I), Shri Sahadev Parida, Sepoy,6th Bn OSAP, Shri Ganesh Kumar Pradhan, Forester, Gajapati, arrested and forwarded to Court by Odisha Vigilance on corruption charges on Wednesday. All 3 remanded to judicial custody by the Court.
Kamadeba Biswal, Asst. Executive Engineer/ SDO, Irrigation Division, Khordha, has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance on 7.12.2021 while demanding and accepting bribe Rs. 10,000/- from a Complainant ( Contractor) to facilitate payment of bill amounting to Rs10,00,000/. In this connection Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case no 42 dt. 6-12-21 U/s 7P.C.(Amendment)Act 2018 has been registered.
Cash Rs 2,94,600/- , 4 two wheelers & 17 Bank passbooks unearthed so far in ongoing house searches of Sri Sahadev Parida, Sepoy, 6th OSAP, Cuttack by Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
