3-days long State level Virtual Training Programme held

BHUBANESWAR: Yogasana sports Association of Odisha (YSAO) affiliated to National Yogasana sports Federation, recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports organized state level Judges training programme from 12th to 14th August.

Hon’ble Chancellor of DRRPCAU, Bihar, Vice President of Maharshi Sandipani Veda Vidya Pratisthan, Ujjain and the The President of YSAO Prof. Prafulla Kumr Mishra, has presided over the inaugural and valedictory function and said Yogasana is a part of our life style and appeals government to give a place where we can gives proper practice to children for the better performance in the competition. Prof. Mishra also declared for the district level yogasana championship.

In inaugural session Dr. Bhabani Shankar Pal, District Ayurvedic Medical Officer joined as chief guest and talked about healthy life style and prevention of disease and he informed about the various plans and programme of the government for betterment of Yoga. Prof. Biswabandita Kar, Dean, School of Yoga and Spiritualism, KIIT Deemed to be University, Mr Sudhansu Adhikary, Prabhari, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Odisha, Mr. Dibakar Prasad Harichandan, Director, Canara Bank had joined as the honourable guests and they all had the unanimous view that If practiced correctly, yogasana breaks down the psychological, emotional, physical, energetic, and psychic obstacles that inhibit us from thriving. Yoga also teaches you how to make better decisions. In the beginning of this programme Dr. Sanjaya Kumar Panda, Programme Director, YSAO and Faculty of KIIT School of Yoga and member of YSAO introduced and welcomed all the guests on behalf of all the YSAO. At the end of the programme Mr. Nikhil Dalai, an International referee and Chief Trainer gave vote of thanks.

In the closing ceremony the Vice Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture, Prof. Byomokesh Tripathy attended as the chief guest and said about the healthy competition and emphasized impartial Judgement. The Vice President of NYSF Dr. Sanjay Malpaniji talked about the Yogasana sports and it’s future in Odisha. He also praised of Odissi dance and culture of Odisha. Sri Sailendra ku. Jena, Joint secretary of the Department for sports and youth services Government of Odisha had joined as chief speaker and  gives us ensure that sports authority will give their full support for developing this game. Comparing other state we have to build strong organizations to improve our children get positions in competition. The Director General Sports, KIIT Deemed to be University, Honourable guest Dr. Gaganendu Dash inspired everyone to adopt yoga in their life style.

The aim of program to trained judges for upcoming events of Yogasana sports in Odisha. YSAO organized the program via the online platform zoom. A total no of 70 Judges from 30 district has joined in this program. Sri Nikhil Dalai, Dr. Sanjaya Kumar Panda, Ms Mamata Mohanty, Sri Chandrakanta Barik, Sri Ramaballabh Mohapatra, Sri Santamati Dash, Sir Prakash Kumar Gochi has joined as the resource persons of this programme. At last Sri Debasis purohit gave votes of thanks to all esteemed speakers.

Sub Junior: 09+ To 14 Years

Junior: 14+ To 18 Years

Senior: 18+ To And Above
