CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Second investiture Ceremony was observed in a befitting manner at OSAP 7th Battalion Bhubaneswar on Friday. DGP Abhay gave away total 83 nos of DGP’s Disc to Police Corona Warrior and selected Police Officers and men for their meritorious services in the year 2020-21.
A total 15 nos of Police Covid Martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, 2 nos of SOG Martyrs and 66 nos of Police personnel of different unit/ ranks have been awarded with DGP Disc i.e. 02 nos of IGP, 12 nos of OPS, 15 nos of Inspector, 04 nos of S.I., 01 no of ASI, 08 no of Havildar , 06 nos of Constable, 17 nos of SOG Commando and 1 no of Sepoy. Senior Police Officers were present in the function. Vigilance IGP Ghanshyam Upadhya, IGP(Provisioning) Yatrindra Koyal were given award for their outstanding services, besides a total of 66 Police personnel given awards.
