BHUBANESWAR: As many as 24 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from various hospitals following their recovery, sources said on Saturday night adding that total number of positive cases stands at 61.
Sources said , the 3 fresh cured cases were from Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile, a 58-year-old male from Balasore district today tested positive for the deadly virus. Official sources said the tally of the positive cases in the State increased to 61. Out of these 24 have recovered and one died.
Till yet active cases in the State is at 36, official sources added. In a related development, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) given go ahead VIMSAR, Burla to conduct test COVID-19 test.
Till now 8619 samples have been tested and the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha stands at 61, while 24 persons have recovered and discharged from the hospital.
Sources said that the COVID-19 casualty stands at one and the number of active cases is 36 along with 103 persons in hospital isolation.
