BHUBANESWAR: The 2009 batch IPS officer Brijesh Kumar Rai on Thursday joined as Additional Commissioner of Police replacing incumbent Umashankar Dash of 2008 batch.
Rai was earlier DIG Headquarters , was transferred and posted as Additional CP, Commissionerate Police.
Commissionerate Police welcomed the new Additional Commissioner of Police Mr Rai as he assumes his responsibilities today.
CP S Priyadarshi, DCPs of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Prateek Singh and Pinak Mishra and outgoing Additional Commissioner of Police, Dash who was transferred and posted as DIG, SIW, were among those present.
