KALAHANDI: With young IPS Officer, Dr Saravana Vivek M at the helm of affairs, Kalahandi police on Friday scripted yet another motivational success story by hosting the marriage ceremony for 2 surrendered Maoists .
The former rebels Ramdas and Kalamdei got married in presence of police personnel including SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M at a temple on premises of the police reserve office.DIG of Police (SWR) Koraput Rajesh Pandit graced the ceremony as chief guest, CRPF 64th Bn Commandant Biblab Sarkar and other senior Police officers of Kalahandi district were among the guests.
The District Police said, Groom name is Ramdas who surrendered in the year 2019 to Kalahandi police and Bride is Kalamdei who is originally from Kalahandi and surrendered with Kalahandi police in the year 2017.
The police had invited people including media friends to their wedding, which was being at Police reserve office temple at 11 AM today and bless the couple who are taking a great positive step in their life.
