BHUBANESWAR: Two more VK Pandian gang IPS officers leaving Odisha. One IPS officer did lately join his OSD home post and remain in New Delhi and Bhubaneswar and while another serving in the State.
These 2 IPS Officers were Ravi Kant and Mitrabhanu Mohapatra. Ravi Kant posted as OSD home but he came to Bhubaneswar and was staying at IPS mess and today got posted as IGP BSF while former Keonjhar SP , Mohapatra was in news after arrest of Mines mafia Raja Chakra, posted as DIG , BSF.
‘Appointment of Shri Ravi Kanta, IPS (OD:1998) as IG, BSF on deputation basis. I am directed to refer to the subject mentioned above and to convey approval of the competent authority for appointment of Shri Ravi Kanta, IPS (OD:1998) as Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) against existing vacancy on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.It is, therefore, requested that Shri Ravi Kanta, IPS (OD:1998) may be relieved immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre,” a letter of Sanjeev Kumar, Under Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, to the Government, of India to Odisha Chief Secretary reads.
‘Appointment of Shri Mitrabhanu Mahapatra, IPS (OD:2010) as DIG, BSF on deputation basis. , Sir,I am directed to refer to the subject mentioned above and to conveyapproval of the competent authority for appointment of Shri Mitrabhanu Mahapatra, IPS (OD:2010) as Deputy Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) against existing vacancy on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. It is, therefore, requested that Shri Mitrabhanu Mahapatra, IPS (OD:2010) may be relieved immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre,” another letter of MHA to Odisha Chief Secretary reads.
Earlier, DS Kutey and Ashish Singh left Odisha and opt Central posting , were posted in BSF and ITBP soon after BJP came to power and Naveen Patnaik and VK Pandian lost control over Odisha administration. Now Ravi Kant and Mitrabhanu Mohapatra are all set to leave after the appointment in BSF.
