BHUBANESWAR: The Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led BJP Government in Odisha has revoked the suspension of senior IPS Officer DS Kutey and posted him as OSD, Home Department.
Ravi Kant, an IPS Officer of 1998 batch, has been removed from the post of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi and posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Home Department with immediate effect.
Both Kutey and Kant were close aids of VK Pandian and were calling shots in New Delhi and in Bhubaneswar
The State Government has given additional charge of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi to senior IAS Officer Vishal Gagan, who is at present serving as Special Secretary, Industries Department (OIEPO) in New Delhi.
“Vishal Gagan, IAS (RR-1998) at present Special Secretary to Government, Industries Department (OIEPO), New Delhi is allowed to remain in additional charge of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi until further order,” said a Notification issued by State Home Department on Monday.
