PURI: Additional forces have been mobilised to Dimirisena village under Brahmagiri police limits in Odisha’s Puri district on Sunday after at least 2 persons were killed and 10 others injured in a group clash over land dispute, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Surendra Bhoi and Kalia Bhoi. The injured ones have been admitted to Rebana Nuagaon CHC for treatment.
Police detained 5 persons in this connection for questioning while cops have been deployed in the village to avoid any further untoward incident. Sources said the clash erupted between two families over a land dispute related to laying of water pipeline.
