BHUBANESWAR: The Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) is organizing a two day Summit on Manganese / Chrome Ores, Electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD), Electrolytic Manganese Metal (EMM) and Ferro-Alloys in association with MOIL Limited on 3-4 January, at Taj Bengal in Kolkata.
The Summit of this Federation will be inaugurated by Union Steel Secretary Mr. N.N. Sinha. Mr. Sumit DebPresident, FIMI and CMD, NMDC Ltd. Mr. A.K. Saxena, Chairman-cum-Managing Director MOIL Ltd., Nagpur, Mr. Pankaj Satija, Managing Director Tata Steel Mining Ltd. Bhubaneswar are among those expected to attend the summit.
Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd (A subsidiary of Vedanta), Bhadrak , MOIL Ltd., Nagpur, NMDC Ltd., Hyderabad, Rungta Mines Ltd., Chaibasa Sri Kumaraswamy Mineral Exports Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru are silver sponsors of the summit with M.G. Mohanty, Bhubaneswar MGM Minerals Ltd., Bhubaneswar and Tata Steel Ltd are sponsors while A.P. Trivedi Sons, Balaghat, Megaplast India Pvt Ltd., Mumbai and SAIL – Chandarpur Ferro-Alloy Plant, Chandarpur are co-sponsors.
