BHUBANESWAR:  Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi while addressing the 2nd day of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas here at Janata Maidan, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union External Affairs Minister S Jai Shankar, on Thursday said “Under the guidance of  PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the golden era of Odisha’s development has already begun. Odisha is poised to be at the heart of ‘Mission Purvodya.’ I extend my heartfelt gratitude to PM  for providing this incredible opportunity to showcase Odisha on the global stage,”.

CM Majhi attended the inaugural session along with PM Modi, MEA Jai Shankar, the President of Trinidad and Tobago, Ms. Christine Carla Kangaloo,  Governor  Odisha, Dr Hari Babu K.

‘Odisha, the land of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath, is a holistic hub of diverse culture and historical excellence. From the Sun Temple to Odissi dance, from Pattachitra to the world-famous Sambalpuri fabric, Odisha keeps its rich culture alive and thriving,” CM Majhi said.

‘Beyond its heritage, Odisha is also a treasure trove of natural beauty, with wonders such as Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, Chilika Lake, pristine beaches, the hills of Koraput, the lush green forests of Similipal, and the stunning waterfalls of Keonjhar. I invite you all to explore the magnificent natural beauty of Odisha and carry a piece of Odisha with you,’ he said.

‘Odisha’s appeal extends beyond its glorious past and breathtaking landscapes. It is a land of limitless opportunities for the future. Today, Odisha stands as one of the most investor-friendly states in India.
