BHUBANESWAR: As many as 17 proposals of 12 Department have got State Cabinet Nod.The 52nd meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, approved the new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility Policy-2022, all old vehicles that have completed 15 years will be scrapped at the scrapping center and owners will be provided incentives to buy new vehicles.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to Odisha Logistics Policy 2022. The policy is expected to strengthen the state’s position as a preferred destination for trade and commerce with the promotion of green energy.
The cabinet has approved the Industrial Policy Resolution (IPR) – 2022 with an aim to transform Odisha into the industrial hub of eastern India by promoting industrialization.Assessment of physical fitness for appointment to various Categories B and C posts, decision to make Daman movie tax free got nod.
Odisha Apparel and Technical Textiles Policy – 2022, Export Promotion Policy – 2022, and New Tourism Policy – 2022 which will include health, wellness, and medical tourism in the tourism sector also approved.
