NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National Vice President, Baijayant Jay Panda who has been named as Party’s candidate for the politically sensitive and prestigious Kendrapara Parliamentary seat in Odisha, was felicitated by as many as 17 Odia Organisations based in National Capital. The felicitation ceremony was held at Jagannath Temple in Hauzkhas in New Delhi on Wednesday evening.
The senior BJP leader Jay Panda, who is also Party’s election in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, expressed confidence that the Saffron Party will score impressively in both Lok Sabha and Assembly polls and win more seats in twin polls in Odisha.
He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity and good work done by the Union Government in last 10 years for Odisha wil fetch votes and the party will more seats.
Stating that change will start from Kendrapara, Panda hoped that people of this Lok Sabha seat will give him another chance, which it had given to him between 2009 to 2019.
‘He also said, what Kendrapara thinks, Odisha thinks next,’ the BJP National VP said. He also highlighted what he had done during his tenure as MP in Kendrapara from 2009 to 2019.
World Odisha Society Chairman and senior Journalist Kishore Dwibedi, Secretary of the Hauzkhas Shree Lord Jagannath Temple, Ravi Pradhan , Jayaram Samal, Sanjib Kumar Mohanty, Ashok Pradhan, Akshay Kumar Samal,Minaketan Samal, Reeta Patra along with main Organiser Bibhu Sahoo were among those present.
