151 Government Officers in Odisha Given Compulsory Retirement during Naveen Patnaik’s 5th Term

BHUBANESWAR: Continuing its onslaught on corruption and corrupted elements, Odisha Government has so far till Tuesday, has given compulsory retirement to as many as 151 officers ranging from OAS officer to OPS Officer to Senior Engineer.  

On Tuesday, 5 more officers forced to retire for their alleged involvement in corruption in Odisha, which included DSP, OAS officer, police inspector, 2 Municipality executive officers taking the  total to 151.These 5 officers included DSP Rabindra Kumar Sethy,  former Tehsildar of Bonai in Sundargarh district Sushil Kumar Kujura,Bangomunda police station IIC Binod Bihari Nayak, former Executive Officer of Basudevpur Municipality in Bhadrak district, Tapas Ranjan Jena, and Bijay Krushna Nayak, the former Executive Officer of Karanjia NAC of Mayurbhanj district.

Few days back, the Government had given the same to Santosh Kumar Das, Assistant Engineer, Baripada ITDA,Sarala Dei, Community Development Project Officer (CDPO), Balikuda, Jagatsinghpur district, Jagatsinghpur’s Balikuda Anganwadi Supervisor Pratima Sahu ,Ramchandra Behera, Inspector of the Angul Police Training College, Hridananda Sahu, Revenue Supervisor in the office of Sadar Tehsildar of Keonjhar district.
