BHUBANESWAR: The State owned Paradip Port Trust is going set yet another record in iron ore cargo handling.The PPT will load 1,41,200 MT of Iron Ore Fines, of JSW Steel, the highest ever Iron ore cargo loaded in the Port so far.
For augmenting coastal shipping, MV STAR LYRA a cape vessel berthed at the inner Harbor on Monday afternoon at New Iron Ore Berth in the Port. The exporter JSW Steel, which has major 4 iron ore blocks, in Odisha, will discharge the cargo at Jaigarh Port in Maharashtra.

JSW Jaigarh Port is the first deep water, 24/7 operational private port in Maharashtra. Inaugurated in August 2009, JSW Jaigarh Port was built in a record time of 20 months. This greenfield, all-weather port occupies a strategic location on the west coast, as it is situated between the ports of Mumbai and Goa.
