104 companies of Central Armed Police Forces deployed in Odisha for May 13 Polling , 4 Lok Sabha and 28 Assembly seats to go for Voting

BHUBANESWAR:  As many as 4 Parliamentary seats including Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Berhampur and 28 Assembly seats under these Lok Sabha segments will go for polls in 4th phase on May 13.CEO Odisha, Sri N.B. Dhal, , held a press conference on the First Phase Election in Odisha. Joined by Addl CEO Dr. N. Thirumala Naik,  Satrughan Kar, , Mihir Prashad Mohanty, & Pramod Kumar Sahoo. He discussed polling arrangements and preparedness.

Odisha CEO Nikunja Dhal urged all voters of these Lok Sabha and Assembly seats to cast their voters in their respective polling booths.

Odisha Chief Electoral Officer Nikunja Dhal said while addressing a press meet here on Saturday that “The number of female voters is more than male voters.The voters’ list has a good representation of youth, PWDs, elderly citizens.

‘Voter facilitation centers have been set up.More than 23,000 voters on election duty have exercised their franchise through the postal ballots in these facilitation centers. We have already sent 6,296 postal ballots electronically for the service voters,” Dhal said.

‘We have deployed 104 companies of Central Armed Police Forces… We are confident that polling will be conducted peacefully and smoothly…We have made all arrangements to provide a happy experience to the voters…I appeal to all voters of the four parliamentary constituencies to come out in large numbers on 13th May and exercise their democratic right, the right to vote,” he said.

Campaigning for these seats ending by today evening while candidates are making last minute visit to voters to gain their support.
