BALASORE/BHUBANESWAR: Hanuman Jayanti celebrations are underway in Eastern Range, Balasore, specifically in Remuna NAC, Soro, Model SKPS,etc And in Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj districts where thousands members of VHP, BJP, and Hindu community supporters are participating.
10 platoons ,forces are deployed in Balasore,07 platoon forces are deployed in Bhadrak for peaceful celebrations of Hanuman Jayanti.
The festivities began at 10 AM and feature a 7 KM Padayatra from Gargadeswar Temple to Hatiagand village chhak in Remuna area.

Padayatra: A 7 KM procession from Gargadeswar Temple to Hatiagand village chhak, escorted by police personnel, including inspectors and sub-inspectors.
Police Arrangements:-Six platoons of police are deployed at strategic locations, with mobile patrolling and surveillance teams on rooftops to prevent untoward incidents.
Security Measures:
Striking Force: Stationed at Remuna PS, comprising one platoon of OSAP and an Executive Magistrate.
Magisterial Arrangement: Executive Magistrates are in charge of the striking force and Padayatra.
Emergency Services: An ambulance and fire brigade are available during the Padayatra.
Traffic Regulation:Traffic has been regulated and diverted to ensure smooth passage of the Padayatra . Participants are advised to follow traffic rules and instructions from police personnel.
Appeal: DIG, Eastern Range, Dr. Satyajit Naik, IPS, has appealed to all participants to maintain peace and harmony during the celebrations, requesting the public to cooperate with the police and follow instructions for a smooth and successful event .
