BERHAMPUR: One arrested and 1.950kg Ganja seized under Golanthara PS. Case Reference. Golanthara PS Case No.-52, dt. 02.02.2024 u/s-20(b)(ii) NDPS Act.
Wile Golantahra PS staff were conducting MV checking near Bhaliagad today morning police team detected the above noted case. Seeing the numberless scooter, the Police team detained it, which was plying from Ichhapur side to Kanisi. During the checking of the vehicle contraband article of Ganja of 1.950 kg was recovered from the dickey of the scooter.
During interrogation accused stated that he was transporting those Ganja from the Ichhapur to Kanisi with an intention to sell those to the general public and earn money. The accused Pradeep Kumar Swain was arrested today & forwarded to court.
Arrested-Pradeep Kumar Swain (53) s/o Late Radhanath Swain of village Kotpad, Gandhi Chaka, PS- Kotpad, Dist-Koraput.
Seizure items-.Ganja- 1.950 KG, One Honda Active 5G scotty – without any Registration.
