BHUBANESWAR: KIIT Deemed University’s School of Rural Management on Saturday hosted a webinar on CSR Today: Issues, Challenges and New Paradigms, in which experts from corporate, social and rural management sectors joined and deliberated on the topic. As CSR is now an integral part of corporate sectors, experts hoped better coordination between Government, Industry and local people.
Dr Prashant K Hota, President and Group Head(CSR, Education and Sustainability, Jindal Steel and Power Limited(JSPL), Anil Dadhich, CSR-Head JSW Energy, Atul Singh, VP-CSR Emami Ltd, Rumi Mallick Mitra, IBM, CSR, Vijay Waddhwani, Head-Britannia Nutrition Foundation were among those attended and talked on the present sitution and challnges in carrying out CSR activities.
Prof Nishith Parida, Director, School of Rural Managment, gave the welcome address while Program was managed by Mahasweta Mohanty, Director Industry Management and was moderated by Prof Nirmal K Mandal, Associate Prof School of Rural Manament and Dr Sanjay Muthal, CEO, Kontempore Leadership Solutions and Services gave the closing remarks.
