BHUBANESWAR: Keeping in mind the possible gathering at public places on 31st Dec, 1st & 2nd Jan, 2022, State Govt has already imposed restrictions on such gatherings. Further State Government has instructed DM/MCs to enforce strict Covid safety protocols & random checking of crowd at public places. SRC PK Jena has written letters to DMs .
With a view to protecting the health of public and preventing the spread of COVID19 & Omicron, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has instructed that all the religious institutions shall remain closed for public from 31st Dec to 2nd Jan, 2022. Usual rituals of the institutions shall continue.
