BHUBANESWAR: The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) has approved proposal of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) for setting up a Ferro Chrome unit (96,000 MT per annum) and 10 MW power plant in Kalinga Nagar in Odisha’s industrial rich Jajpur district with a total investment of Rs. 547.19 crores, which will create employment opportunities for 900 people.
The proposals were approved at the meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy.
Hemant Sharma, Secretary Industries and MSME , after the SLSWCA meeting said that six investment proposals including IMFA envisaging investment of Rs 1753.82 crore has been approved.
Sharma said these projects include Textile and Apparel, Food Processing, Metal & Metal Downstream, Plastics and Tourism sectors.Sharma said the Projects will create employment opportunities for 5566 people.
