BHUBANESWAR: Odisha’s costal pockets of Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur,Bhadrak and Balaosore was on Sunday remained completely shut down barring the emergency services with people of the State responded well to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Janata Curfew’ and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s ‘Week-long shut down,’ to contain the spread of coronavirus.
While rest of the State well responded to the Janata Curfew of PM Modi with reports from several important cities and towns coming were normal and situation under control.All emergencies services remain unaffected while cities and towns wore deserted look with round the clock patrolling by State Police to control the law and order.

All major cities and towns remained shut down while commuters and walkers remained in house while responding the appeals of both PM and CM.
The shut down decision came close of heals after reports of some 3000 returned to the State from many Western and Gulf Countries in view of COVID-19 outbreak putting the Naveen Patnaik Government in trouble.
“People here responded well and entire Talchua region remained completely shut down under Rajnagar Block of Kendrapara ,” informed Talchua Marine PS IIC Shreekant Barik.
“We have appealed general public through loud speaker in Balaore and entire district responded well to the appeal of Modi and Naveen,” senior BJP leader Rakesh Malik informed.
In Kendrapara, Rajnagar, Rajkanika, Aul, Marshahai and Patkura responded well with even villagers preferred to remain in house while even few not ventured into the agriculture field , hoping that their response may control the disease. State Capital Bhubanswar , Cuttack city and several other cities too remained closed.
