BHUBANESWAR: Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that empowering the motherland by removing ideological misconceptions is the challenge of the present time, while participating in the concluding session ‘Kriti’ of ‘Bharati-Nari Se Narayani’ in New Delhi today.
On the occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’, Shri Pradhan has sung the glory of Matri Shakti by participating in the two-day Women’s Intellectual Conference organized by the Rashtriya Vidwat Parishad and Rashtra Sevika Samiti. On this occasion, Minister Shri Pradhan, in his speech, said that ‘Nari Tu Narayani’ is the core concept of our culture and civilization. This conference is a reflection of that sacred ideology. On the call of the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India must be freed from Macaulay’s slave mentality by 2035. Our Matri Shakti has borne the brunt of the intellectual distortion that has been created in the society due to this colonial mentality. Now is the time to reform the efforts made to change our original traditions.
The brainstorming session held in this women-led conference is commendable. To realize the vision of empowering the girl child and motherhood, we have to move forward with a comprehensive vision and holistic approach. Shri Pradhan has called upon everyone to present the nectar ideas emanating from this two-day conference in front of the countrymen with vigor.
The event was attended by Union Minister Shri Pradhan’s wife, Mrs. Mridula T. Pradhan, renowned Hindu ascetic and social worker Padma Bhushan Sadhvi Ritambahra, and many prominent women intellectuals and academicians.
