NAYAGARH/KHORDA: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday dedicated the Nayagarh town-Mahipur railway line of the ongoing Khordha Road-Balangir rail line project. Odisha Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo and senior officials of East Coast Railways were among those present.
Pradhan also flagged off the extension of Khordha Road-Nayagarh Town-Khordha Road Passenger up to Mahipur railway station from Nayagarh.
Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan said, “If the State government provides the necessary support, the railway line will be extended up to Bolangir by 2023.
He said the newly-inaugurated 12-km-long railway line from Nayagarh to Mahipur will further boost the socio-economic development of Nayagarh district as well as the state.
