Adani Enterprises Limited wins Gondulpara Coal Block in Jharkhand

NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: 1 coal mine of Jharkhand was put up for auction on Day 6 of Commercial Coal Mine Auction on Saturday.The total geological reserves of the mine put up for auction was ~176.33 MT with a PRC of ~4 MTPA.

The e-auction witnessed strong competition amongst the bidders with the mine attracting good premium over the floor price. Adani Enterprises Limited won Gondulpara Coal Block in Jharkhand by bidding highest of 20.75% with Annual Revenue Generated based on PRC of mine Rs 520.92 Crore.

Earlier, 2 coal mines (1 in Odisha and 1 in Jharkhand) were put up for auction on Day 5 of Commercial Coal Mine Auction on Friday. The total geological reserves of the mines put up for auction are ~755.63 MT with a cumulative PRC of ~15 MTPA.The e-auction witnessed strong competition amongst the bidders with both the mines attracting good premiums over the floor price.

EMIL Mines and Mineral Resources Limited/148771 bagged Radhikapur (East) Odisha by 16.75% and Aurobindo Reality and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd/146875 won Urma Paharitola Jharkhand by bidding 26.50%.

Earlier on Thursday, 2 coal mines (1 in Madhya Pradesh and 1 in Jharkhand) were put up for auction on Day 4 of  Commercial Coal Mine Auction.The total geological reserves of the mines put up for auction are ~83.63 MT with a cumulative PRC of ~1.4 MTPA. The e-auction witnessed strong competition amongst the bidders with both the mines attracting good premiums over the floor price. Rajhara North (Central & Eastern) in Jharkhand went to Fairmine Carbons Pvt Ltd/149447 and Sahapur East in Madhya Pradesh bagged by Chowgule and Company Private Limited/148516.
