COVID-19 Enforcement: Rs 26 ,61,450 in Second Day

BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: On the second day of the special COVID enforcement drive, Odisha  Police acted against 11801 violators of mask usage and social distancing rules and collected fine of Rs 26,61,450/-.Cumulatively, in two days action has been taken against 21201 violators of covid protocols in the state and penal fines amounting to Rs 51,69,350/-  have been collected. We urge all to wear mask and maintain social distance.

On first day of the special  COVID enforcement drive, Odisha Police acted against 9400 violators of mask usage and social distancing rules and collected fine of Rs 25,07,900/- is last 24 hours.

136 platoon police force have been engaged in the entire State to intensify COVID enforcement measures. District SsP/ DCsP and other Senior Officers leading the drive. We urge all to observe Covid appropriate behaviour.A special 10 days drive for enforcement of COVID safety regulations is being launched from 7th April to 16th  April.The enforcement measures will be further initiated in coming days.
