BHUBANESWAR: Failing to found a place in Union Cabinet in last reshuffle before the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, former Odisha Chief Minister and Sundargarh MP Hemananda Biswal has expressed over non-inclusion in the Ministry.

Biswal, argued that this had sent a very bad message in Odisha. Nabarangpur MP Pradeep Majhi was also aspiring for Minister of State tag but also failed.

Minister Srikant Jena, who was expecting a Cabinet also left in behind. Biswal said the move would hit tribal vote bank of Congress in Odisha.

Except Balasore MP and Minister Jena, the remaining five MPs Sanjay Bhoi of Bargarh, Bhakta Charan Das of Kalahandi, Pradeep Majhi of Nabarangpur, Hemananda Biswal of Sundargarh and Amarnath Pradhan of Sambalpur had been  elected from western districts.

Out of the 27 Congress MLAs in the State Assembly, at least 20 are from the western and south Odisha.
