NEW DELHI:The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has saluted the dedication and commitment of all the teachers, on Teachers’ Day. Prime Minister has also paid his tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Former President of India, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across India.

“Happy Teachers Day! India salutes the dedication and commitment of all teachers, whose role in nation building is paramount.

Tributes to Dr. S Radhakrishnan, a scholar, statesman and a respected teacher who shaped many minds and served India.

Modi has greeted the people, on the auspicious occasion Ganesh Chaturthi. “Ganesh Chaturthi greetings to everyone. May the blessings of Lord Ganesh always remain with us. Ganpati Bappa Morya!”, the Prime Minister said.
